What should I do about my cat allergies?

by admin on March 14, 2010

I have mild cat allergies and a friend told me about a simple solution that didn’t involve medication. I forgot what it was though. Does anyone have any natural remedies to allergies?

Either get a shot from a doctor, or avoid cats.

My brother has similar allergies and my mom just makes sure so brush the cats with an ionic brush, because its stops the hair and dander from spreading around the house and aggravating his allergies.

Try to get your kitty use to the vaccume. It will remove the hair and dander from your cat. You can also give your cat Vit. E, oil form in it’s food. This will help control the dander also.
I have four indoor cats and a child with allergies, it works.

Shave the cat.

get a dog, just kidding. Go to any health food store and ask, they are really helpful.

Actually, if you wipe cooking oil around the inside of your cat’s dish, this will help with hairballs as well as reduce the amount of dry skin your cat has. And, quite often, it is actually the saliva that a person is allergic to, so no nose nuzzling ; )

There are lotions from the per store to put on your cat that reduce the allergens. There are now immunotherapy shots like for hay fever that give you relief for about five years after you take the series of shots. Keep your cat out of your bed at night. I take things to fight imflamation like quecitin and vitamin c.
