Dandruff treatment : Dandruff is a chronic condition that can almost always be controlled, but dandruff treatment may take a little patience and persistence. In general, mild scaling can often be helped by daily cleansing with a gentle shampoo to reduce oiliness and cell buildup.

The aim when treating dandruff is to reduce the level of the yeast pityrosporum ovale on your scalp, and slow down the reproduction of skin cells.Dandruff responds well to the use of medicated or anti-fungal (anti-yeast) shampoos, and there is a wide variety available from pharmacies. You will need to experiment until you find the best one that works or you.

Dandruff medications : Dandruff that persists for more than just a few days at a time can be a sign of seborrheic dermatitis. This is an inflammatory condition of the scalp, commonly seen in both infants and adults. In most cases, the condition is worse in the winter.The condition can become troublesome when the skin gets infected.

An orange-yellow powder that is soluble in carbon disulfide and practically insoluble in both water and organic solvents. Selenium sulfide is used as an ingredient in antidandruff shampoos and as a constituent of fungicides. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of sulfur oxides and selenium.

My husband is suffering from a severe case of seasonal allergies. How can we find out what he is allergic to?

We’ve tried herbal remedies, i.e. grapeseed extract, allergic tonic and etc. However, they don’t seem to be that effective. He’s used Zyrtec in the past and it was helpful. I am wondering if allergy shots are the most effective way to combat allergies? I would appreciate any advice from fellow allergy sufferers. Thanks.
